Terms of Service

LAST UPDATED AUGUST 20, 2026

1. What HumanHUD is

HumanHUD (“the Service”) displays your personal statistics — health basics you enter or connect, and financial figures from accounts you link — in a heads-up layout in your browser at humanhud.ai and on supported smart-glasses displays. The Service shows information. It does not provide medical, health, investment, tax, or financial advice, and nothing it displays is a recommendation to act.

2. Your account

Some features require an account, created with your email (with a password or a one-time code) or a supported sign-in provider. Accounts are managed through AWS Cognito. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You must be at least 18 to create an account.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe at the prices shown on the pricing section at the time you subscribe. You can cancel any time from your account page via the Stripe customer portal; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with notice — changes apply from your next billing cycle.

4. Linked accounts and data sources

Bank and investment data is provided through Plaid with read-only access — the Service can never move money or place trades. You can unlink a connected account at any time, which deletes our stored access token. Displayed figures depend on what your institutions report and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong; always confirm with your institution before making decisions.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Service: no unauthorized access, probing, or disruption; no scraping or reselling of the Service; no use that violates the law or the rights of others; no attempts to link accounts you are not authorized to access.

6. Third-party services

The Service is built on providers with their own terms, including AWS (hosting and sign-in), Stripe (payments), and Plaid (bank connections). Smart-glasses functionality depends on the device maker’s platform and may change or break as those platforms change.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Displayed numbers are informational estimates, not statements of record. HumanHUD is not a medical device, a fitness product, a financial adviser, a broker, or a bank.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HumanHUD and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions made in reliance on displayed information. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see the data deletion section of the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
